Welcome to the Eastchester, NY Town Clerk Vital Record online ordering system. Online requests will be processed during normal business hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday. 

The Town Clerk maintains a permanent record of all deaths and marriages which occur within the Town, as well as, all marriage licenses purchased here regardless of where the marriage occurred. Our records date back to 1842 when the Town first started to keep such records. Such records allow us to assist with genealogical research. Strict adherence to New York State law is applied when processing requests for vital records.   

This is an official request for an aspect of the Eastchester, NY Town Clerk's Office. The information contained in this request should be considered private. Please complete all information in full and then finalize the order process through payment of the 'order fee'.

You will be notified by email when your document is ready for pick-up.

Applications submitted using this service are for a Certified Transcript of a Marriage or Death.

Who is Eligible to Obtain a Vital Record:


Marriage Record:

- The bride, groom, or spouse listed on the Marriage Record are eligible to obtain a certified copy of the marriage record. Those not listed above must submit documentation of a judicial or other proper purpose.

 

Death Record: 

- The spouse, parent, child, or sibling of the deceased.
- Other persons who have a: 
     - documented lawful right or claim
     - documented medical need
     - New York State Court Order

(If the applicant is not the spouse, parent, child or sibling of the decedent, a lawful right or claim must be documented. An example of a lawful right or claim would be a death record needed by the applicant to claim a benefit. Documentation would consist of an official letter from the agency verifying that to process the claim they require from the applicant a copy of the requested death record.)
